The work of health and other professionals is vital to the continuing success of Warwickshire Stop Smoking Service and this section of the website is devoted to information and what we offer to support smoking cessation work in the county.
How we support health and other professionals
Information Bulletin The Smoking Cessation Team produce a regular information bulletin around smoking cessation issues to keep health and other professionals up-to-date with the most recent developments in smoking cessation and tobacco control. Topics covered in past bulletins include new smoking cessation treatments, up-dates on service developments, the Health Act and the smoke free law and up-coming campaigns and events.

Training
The Smoking Cessation Team offer FREE training to health and other professionals who work with service users and can ask about their smoking. There are a range of training courses on offer.

Resources and Information on Smoking Issues PackWe distribute FREE smoking related resources to all health-related outlets and workplaces. These materials include basic items such as posters and leaflets as well as stickers, cot labels and other more unusual items. The resources are either produced locally, by Warwickshire Tobacco Team, or created by the
Department of Health for the general public.
